I'm here to share some insights about how Self-Employed + TurboTax Bundle works, marjorierubin.

This bundle gives you access to both our app and Turbo Tax Self-Employed, plus free e-filing for one federal and one state return. If you signed up for the bundle, but want to use a different tax prep method, you can change your bundle to QuickBooks Self-Employed only.

Please know that when we downgrade your bundle means, we'll be also losing all the TurboTax Self-Employed features. I've listed them below:

  • File faster by exporting your Schedule C to TurboTax
  • E-file one state and one federal return without filing fees
  • Online payment for quarterly taxes

I encourage you to read this article for more information about this bundle: QuickBooks Self-Employed + TurboTax Bundle and how to upgrade.

You can follow these steps if you wish to downgrade your subscription:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Billing info.
  3. At the bottom of the Billing Info page, click Cancel now.
  4. Select the Keep QuickBooks Self-Employed option.
  5. Hit Change subscription.

If you make the change before the end of your billing cycle, you'll receive a prorated refund for your bundled price. This process happens automatically, but if it doesn't, I recommend contacting our support team.

I'll be right here to continue helping if you have further questions regarding this matter. Assistance is just one post away.
