HOW TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT

Hi userlanesautoservice,

I've got the steps on how you can cancel the QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

Let me guide you how:

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Billing Info and then Cancel subscription.

QuickBooks keep your data for one year from the date of cancellation. With that, you’re unable to modify your entries or delete them. Files are for read-only access afterward. In case you need them for future purposes, I recommend exporting and saving them.

I'll be around if there's anything that I can help with saving files. Keep safe!

HOW TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT

Hi there, @Sharon12341. I've got your back! I'll outline the detailed steps for canceling your accounts, along with some screenshots.

If you have multiple subscriptions under one account, you'll need to cancel each one separately. Also, make sure to cancel any add-ons or additional services you may have subscribed to along with the main one.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Account and Settings.
  3. Click on the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Locate the subscription(s) you want to cancel and click on the Cancel link next to each subscription.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation and provide any required information.
  6. Repeat these steps for all the subscriptions you want to cancel.

Know that QBO will hold your data for up to one year. Make sure to download or export your information before doing this process. You can also pick up where you left off if you decide to come back. For more info, check out these articles:
