I've got the steps on how you can cancel the QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

QuickBooks keep your data for one year from the date of cancellation. With that, you’re unable to modify your entries or delete them. Files are for read-only access afterward. In case you need them for future purposes, I recommend exporting and saving them.
