If you subscribed by error and wish to use a different version of QuickBooks Online (QBO) instead, you can either downgrade or upgrade your subscription. If you purchased your subscription from either iTunes or Google Play, check out this article: Cancel a QuickBooks Online subscription purchased through an app store.
If you got the subscription from us, here are the steps to cancel:
- Log in to your QBO company.
- From the Gear icon, select Account and Settings.
- Go to the Billing and Subscription tab.
- In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to cancel your subscription.
It's sad to hear you go, but I hope in the future, you'd still consider QBO for your business.
Be advised, your QBO company will have read-only access within a year starting from the date of cancellation. This is in case you want to back up your files or print them. If you resubscribe within a year, your company will still be intact. If it's already past a year, then your company will be blank, and you'll need to start from scratch.
