How to change fiscal year end

It's my pleasure to walk you through the step by step instructions on how to change the fiscal year in QuickBooks. 

Here's how:
 

1. Go to Company, select My Company.
2. In the COMPANY INFORMATION box, hit the Pencil icon.
3. Choose the Report Information tab.
4. Change the Fiscal Year and Income Tax Form Used. 
5. Tap OK.

Once done, you can check any reports to verify if the updated fiscal date will appear and correct. You also have an option to customize report because columns and filters differ for each report/group of reports.
