Hi there, becky. I'll share a way to download a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you're logged in as the company administrator, there should be no limitation in terms of what you can do within your company file. This includes accessing and downloading your reports.
In your case, we can perform troubleshooting steps that help address unusual behavior in QBO. We can access your company file and record these payments using a private window. A private window is a helpful tool for troubleshooting browser-related difficulties, as it won't preserve any history. The following are the keyboard shortcuts:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
In the private window, follow the steps below to download a report:
- Go to the Reports menu from the left navigation pane.
- Locate the report.
- Click the report name to open this. Then, change the Report period according to what date you want it to display.
- In the report screen, hit the Export button and choose how we want it to save—either Export to Excel or Export to PDF.
After that, it is recommended to clear your browser's cache or cookies to avoid similar issues in the future. Alternatively, opting for one of the browsers that are supported can also be a wise decision.
You can also scan this resource for more about customizing them: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Keep me posted if you have other questions besides reports you need assistance with. I'm always in the Community to lend a hand for help. Take care!
