How to get back up files?

@soflowaterboiz-o

You need to convert your data to QB Desktop as the first step.

You can use the trial version to proceed. Another option, purchase a 3rd party service to convert your data.

How to get back up files?

Hello there, soflowater. I would like to thank you for your quick response to the thread.

I would like to know if you are currently using QuickBooks Online Advanced. If you are, we can create backup data that you can download for your third-party app.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear Icon.
  2. Select Back up company.

    Note: You might need to sign in with your Intuit account, and then select Autorize to proceed.

Unfortunately, the feature to back up data files in QuickBooks Online is currently unavailable for non-advanced users. You can, however, export your data and download it using a third-party app.

Here's a step that you follow for non-Advanced users:

  1. Go to Gear Icon.
  2. Select Export data.
  3. Select the data you want to export.
  4. Select Export to Excel.

You can check these articles on how to export specific data:

Moreover, let me share some articles that can help you manage your transactions in the future:

If you still have questions about backing up your data, you are welcome to reply on the thread or create a new one. Have a lovely day and take care.
