I created a new sub account. The entry is showing correctly. But in the reporting it is appearing in the parent account. All have the same detail types.

Welcome and thank you for posting here in the Community. I'm here to help share information about using sub accounts and running reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Once you're using the sub account to your transactions, when running reports in QBO the sub account appears together with the parent account. You may need to hover your mouse on the accounts sections to fully check the account.
