I got an email saying, "We wanted to let you know that your profile info was changed." How can I tell what the change was?

I have seen this same concern since Monday.  There are a LOT of QB users saying this same thing.  QB has yet to actually give an answer, though.  

All I can suggest is to login to your account and make sure everything is as it should be, including bank info.

Hi there, lbannerman1! I'll help you check the changes of your profile information in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
 

We've received similar reports regarding email notification about the account changes. We only  have two valid email domains when sending notifications to our customers or subscribers: @e.intuit.com and .intuit.com.

You can go back to your email provider and review the domains I've mentioned above. If none of those two fits, you can report it to our Online Security Center through these steps:


1. Click this link: https://security.intuit.com/.
2. Select Contact Us found beside the FAQ.

3. Under security, choose the Report a fake email (or phishing).
4. Click on the Email security@intuit.com to send reports.


 

In our Intuit account interface, we can only review the changed information manually.
 

1. Go to the login page of your Intuit account: accounts.intuit.com.
2. From there, let's navigate each menu on the left panel.

3. Review the information you see that might have been updated.

4. Correct if necessary.
