I'm paying for QB with my credit card but I don't get any email or invoice from intuit. How can I make sure I get notified every time so I don't forget to expense it?

Let's go through some troubleshooting steps for you to receive emails and get notified of the payment you made from Intuit regarding your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, Sorosh.

If you recently paid for your QBO subscription, we recommend checking your junk mail and spam folders. This will help confirm if your payment to Intuit has been sent and processed. If you still can't find the email or invoice, try clearing and re-entering your email address. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Company section, then tap Edit ✎ in Contact info.
  3. Clear the Company email field and enter the desired address as is, even if it appears correct. (Be sure not to use any extra characters or spaces before, within, or after the address you enter).
  4. Press Save, then Done.
  5. Send yourself a test transaction.
  6. If you still don't receive the email, try using a different email address that has a different domain (for instance, if you were using a Gmail email address, try a Hotmail or Yahoo address instead).

To add Intuit's service email addresses to your email allowlist, you can check out this article: Receive important email messages from Intuit.

You can also view your QBO payment history directly in the program. If you need a copy or would like to view your payment history, follow the steps below to access your payment history information:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Click the View payment history link.

The billing history shows two (2) years of bills for both our monthly and annual subscribers. The billing statements become available the day after the billing date, rather than on the same day.

We are one post away if you have any other questions about receiving important email messages from Intuit or QuickBooks-related concerns.
