In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), there is no option to add a business. Although what you can do is to edit the name of your QBSE account to the business name. Since the name displayed on the Profit and Loss report depends on the Name that is set up on your account.
To update your personal information, here's how:
- Click the Gear icon at the top.
- Under About you column, select Intuit Account.
- Go to Personal Info section, then click Edit on the name.
- Enter your business name and pick Save.
Once done, sign out and log back in. Run the Profit and Loss report and check if the name is now updated.
