Greetings! @mikeyspainting88.

 

It's hard to see customers canceling subscriptions, but I know you have your reasons, so we want to ensure you're guided through the process to achieve this goal.

 

If you want to cancel your paid subscription, please note that we will keep your QBO company data for one year. During this time, you can still view the information but will not be able to make any changes. After one year, all free data will be deleted permanently. To avoid this, please consider resubscribing to keep your data intact.

 

Here's how to cancel your subscription:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
  2. Go to Gear icon  in the upper-right corner
  3. Select Account and Settings.
  4. Go to Billing & Subscription.
  5. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel Subscription or Cancel Online.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to finish the process.

 

Take note that if you subscribed from Google Play or Apple Play Store, you won't be able to cancel the subscription directly in QuickBooks.
