Buy nowHi there, @dh28292881. I'm here to provide some info about downloading a mileage report in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
In QBSE, when downloading a mileage report you can only see the data for the columns Date, Type, Trip Purpose, Vehicle, Start Address, End Address, Distance, Deduction, and Logging Method. As a workaround, you can manually edit the file and enter the start and end time info from there.
For additional guidance in managing your trips in QBSE, feel free to check these articles:
Additionally, I've attached this helpful resource to further explain how QBSE calculates business mileage for your tax deductions: Learn how QuickBooks Self-Employed calculates mileage deductions.
Please keep me posted if you have any other mileage concerns in QBSE. I'm always here ready to lend a hand. Have a good day ahead and take care.
Why in the world would I want to manually enter the data that QB already has?? That makes no sense to me at all! BTW - Your competitors provide this information on their downloads.
I would suggest Intuit add a feature to the download info - of simply adding two more columns of information -- start and end times - which you already have in the mileage database!
The suggestion that I manually add the times myself seems a bit odd to me... I might as well just do everything else manually instead of having QB software.
