If i export a general ledger for four months to excel, how can i import that general ledger information into an exsisting quickbooks online file?

Before you import the general ledger, make sure you have these columns:

• Account Name
• Account Type
• Detail Type

On your existing QuickBooks Online account, follow these steps:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Select Import Data.
3. Select Chart of Accounts.
4. Select Browse. Then, find and select the spreadsheet you saved.
5. Select Next.
