How do I buy a 2nd license for QuickBooks for Mac 2017 Desktop Client/Server model?

We currently don't have QuickBooks for Mac 2017. If you're referring to adding a 2nd user license to your QuickBooks Desktop 2017 for Windows, I suggest you contact our phone agents. They have the tools to assist you in adding a second user license to QuickBooks 2017.

Click the Running Your Business In QuickBooks topic.
Select the Manage Subscription & Users sub-topic.
Scroll and click the Get Phone Number button to get the contact number.

@IntuitSophia - I'm with @FireFish on this one; why is it so complicated to buy an expansion of user licenses?

You can just buy another copy of QuickBooks Mac from any place you buy it (Amazon, Intuit, etc).

@IntuitBrooks usually when expanding software user licenses, it is traditionally done at a lesser rate than the price of the entire application.

I don't control pricing or marketing. There used to be a 3, 5 and 10 pack that gave reduced pricing per unit. I think they still sell the 3 pack but I'm not sure.

And if you are looking for a second copy of QuickBooks Mac 2016 to increase the number of available multiuser seats... you can just purchase a regular copy of quickBOoks Mac 2016 (from Intuit, Amazon, etc). This will give you another seat.
