Thanks for posting here, OceanPark.
Let me assist you with the validation issue.
We only register QuickBooks and to validate the license once. Therefore, we don't need to be connected to the internet all the time. We can perform some troubleshooting steps if it requires you to validate every day.
The first one is by running the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Open the file you downloaded and follow the on-screen steps. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
From the Tool Hub, run the Quick Fix my Program
- In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Installation Issues.
- Select 3371 Error Fix and then OK.
- Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.
If the above steps don't help, you'll want to delete your Entitlement file. This file tells QuickBooks your product is valid and registered. After we delete it, we can reenter your license and product info.
- Go to the Windows Start menu and type "Run" into the search.
- Open Run and type C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8, then Enter. If this doesn't open a folder, enter C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v6.
- Find EntitlementDataStore.ecml. Right-click the file and select Delete.
- Select Yes to confirm. Open QuickBooks and your company file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to register QuickBooks again.
Please reach out to our team for further help if you keep on getting the same behavior. That way, they can investigate it and see what's the cause.
I'll be here if you need anything else. Have a great day!
