Is anybody having problems with the qbo app?

Thanks for posting here your concern with the QBO app, @daw100.

If you're using the QBO desktop app, this is no longer supported as of April 20, 2021. This could be the reason why you encounter problems while using the app. That being said, I suggest accessing your QuickBooks Online account using a browser.

For additional info about the update, you can review this article: QuickBooks Online Mac and Windows Desktop App update.

If you're using the QBO mobile app, let's ensure that this is updated and your phone's OS. This helps your application work continuously without interruptions.

Also, when it's not fully functional, performing the recommended basic troubleshooting steps will resolve the issue.

First, clear the app's cache files. Doing so helps in resolving any sorts of errors in the system. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the Help menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose the Rest App Data option on the drop-down selection.

If you get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Online app. This is to ensure you get the most recent version of the application.

Can I also ask if you encounter an error message when trying to use the QuickBooks app. Additional info would be much appreciated for me to input other steps to fix your concern.

Moreover, here's a link you can open to guide you on how to solve common errors in QuickBooks Online mobile app for Android.

Feel free to get back to this thread if you need help using your QuickBooks app. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a wonderful day ahead.

When I click the mobile app, it opens for one second, but immediately crashes. I’ve even tried deleting and redownloading it. Is there a way to fix this?

Is anybody having problems with the qbo app?

Hello there, @Jimmuncy. I want to ensure you'll be able to install your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.

Downloading and installing QBO mobile app depends on your device. Below are the steps you can perform:

For iOS devices:

  1. Access the App Store on your device and search for QuickBooks Online.
  2. Next, select Free, then Install.
  3. If you are already signed up for QBO, use the same user ID and password to sign in to the app.
  4. You may be asked to enter a one-time code to confirm your identity. Once confirmed, you can continue into your account.

For Andriod device:

  1. Open Google Play on your device and search for QuickBooks Online. This app works on smartphones and tablets.
  2. Next, select Install.
  3. If you are already signed up for QBO, use the same user ID and password to sign in to the app.
  4. You may be asked to enter a one-time code to confirm your identity. Once confirmed, you can continue into your account.

For reference, check out this article: How to download the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Then, to avoid any issues when installing the app, let's ensure that you're using a mobile device that is compatible with QBO: Learn about supported mobile operating systems.

Additionally, you can access your QBO account on your mobile device when using a browser. To know the compatible browser you can use, please read this article: QuickBooks Online access for mobile devices.

I'm always here ready to lend a hand if you have other concerns managing your QBO app. Have a good one, and stay safe.

I see you're having difficulty accessing your account in the mobile app, @Slpizzo. We need to ensure that you are using a device that is compatible with the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app. Allow me to elaborate this.

There is a chance that the mobile app will crash if the device is not compatible. I suggest checking your system to see if it needs an upgrade. Here are the system requirements for using the app:

  • For Apple products, your device will need to be running iOS 11.1 or newer.
  • For Android products, your device will need to be running Nougat 7.1.1 or newer.

Once verified, you're using an updated version, and the error persists. I suggest contacting our support team to investigate this matter further. They can pull up your details in a safe environment. Follow these steps how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks account using the browser.
  2. On the upper right corner, click Help.
  3. Click Search and then select Contact Support. If you can't see this option, you can type it into the search field.
  4. Choose between:
  • Get a callback from us
  • Chat with us

Additionally, you can use this chart to compare feature availability across supported devices. For more details, check out this article: Compare Mobile App Features.

Please don't hesitate to leave a comment below if you have any other concerns about your app. We'll address it as soon as possible. Take care.
