Is anyone else having entire columns disappear from their reports when they export them. It is only happening on some but not all.

The report shows fine on the screen but the exported file when opened is missing half the information.

I've got your back judyrents01 in exporting your reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To ensure that you have the complete information when exporting reports, consider reviewing the customization if you have included the necessary columns, then export the report.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports, then search for the name of the report you want.

  2. Click on the Columns icon.
  3. Review if you have checked the columns needed in your report.
  4. Hit the Refresh report to update.

  5. Click on Export/Print and choose how you want it to be exported.

If the issue persists after following the steps given, let's troubleshoot to confirm if it's a data issue. First, open your QBO account using a private window or incognito. You can use the following shortcut keys:

  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

If you experience the same result, I suggest using other supported browsers. This is to identify if it's an issue with your current browser.

Moreover, I'm adding this article as your guide if you want to memorize reports in QBO: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to visit this page again if you have more concerns about exporting your reports. I'm always here to lend a hand at any time.
