Is anyone experience technical difficulty? I am trying to enter multiple vendors and it won't let me type in the fields

After reviewing our system, I've seen that we haven't received similar reports, Ledford. To resolve your concern, we can perform browser troubleshooting steps.

Before anything else, could you provide more details about what happens when you try to enter multiple vendors and where you're performing this task? A screenshot or additional information would be very helpful to pinpoint the issue and provide an accurate solution.

In the meantime, let’s access your account in a private window. Unexpected issues such as being unable to type in fields can be due to accumulated. Using a private browser prevents saving your browsing history and helps isolate these issues for better performance.

To save you time, please use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once done, enter multiple vendors again and see if you can type in the fields. If everything works perfectly, clear your cache so the system can start fresh. If the problem remains, please use another supported browser.

Moreover, consider scheduling a free consultation with our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted. They can share valuable insights and best practices for managing your QuickBooks Online account.

I'll be on the lookout for any updates from you, Ledford. Your experience matters to us, and we're here to ensure everything runs smoothly. Feel free to share additional details or let us know if you need further assistance.

Is anyone experience technical difficulty? I am trying to enter multiple vendors and it won't let me type in the fields

Hello,

Thank you for your help.  However, it did not solve my issue.  When in the multiple vendors window, I can only enter data in the very first window and no others at all.  Nothing under any field, not address, phone number, etc.  I tried again under another exercise, as I am in school, still could not do multiple vendors.  It is odd this is happening.  I just went ahead and this second time, I entered the vendors one at a time.

I am in college, so maybe it has something to do with that.  I am using a trial membership.  It still will not let me enter in the fields.  Not address, phone number, nor will it even let me go to the 2nd one and start entering a name, or anything else.  It is really odd. I am just entering vendors one at a time instead.

Thank you for revisiting this thread and following my colleague's steps suggested, April.

Firstly, The issue you are experiencing with entering multiple vendors is not associated with using a trial version of QuickBooks Online. All features should be fully functional regardless of whether you are on a trial or a paid subscription.

As my colleague mentioned earlier, we have not encountered any similar reports. I have successfully added multiple vendors through the Import Vendors and Multiple Vendors features in the trial version, and I experienced no complications during the process.

Given you have followed to the recommended steps and the issue persists, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Support for further assistance. They have the tools and resources to conduct a more in-depth analysis of your situation. They can provide step-by-step guidance and, if necessary, remotely access your system to resolve the issue directly.
