Hello there. Welcome to the Community.
Let's pull up the Transaction Detail by Account instead so you can get the grand total of your year-to-date deposits in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
For the time being, there isn't a specific deposit summary report or a customization option to total the deposit detail report in QBO. Instead, you can pull up and customize the Transaction Detail by Account to get the data you need. To do this, here's how:
You can read this article to learn more on how to get the most out of your financial reports in QBO: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Also, you may want to check out this article as your reference to guide you through a few ways you can customize reports to fit your specific needs in QBO: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online.
Please feel free to let me know if you have other reporting concerns or questions about managing deposits and income transactions in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success.
Hello,
I am trying to run Deposit Detail Report from Quick books desk top. I want it to show the deposits plus any credits that were applied to those invoices that a payment was applied to.
Thanks for joining the Community and getting involved with this thread, Hope251.
You can set specific filters on your Deposit Detail Report to get it to display credit memos linked with invoices.
Here's how:
You can also memorize your report by using the Memorize option at the top of it.
I've also included a detailed resource about working with the Deposit Detail Report which may come in handy moving forward: Use Check or Deposit Detail Reports to show transaction links & mimic Cash Receipt Report
I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Have an awesome day!
