journal entries are not showing up in chart of accounts

Let's run some steps to fix this odd behavior. 

To start with, log into your account on an incognito window. This page doesn't store browsing history, thus helping the browser load faster. Here is a list of keyboard shortcuts to open one:

• For Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• For Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
• For Safari: ⌘+ Shift + N

If you're able to see the journal entry, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. Piled browser history can be the reason for some issues on the page. You may also switch to a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.

This does not work, I tried a completely different machine as well and it does not show up. I wish there was actual tech support.

Thank you for trying the steps that Adrian shared. At this point, I recommend contacting our QBO Support, so they can do a screen-sharing session to check this further. They'll be available tomorrow from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

1. Click on Help and click the Search tab.
2. Click Contact Us at the bottom.
3. Enter something like missing journal entry and click Continue.
4. Choose Start a chat or Get a callback.
