You can enter your Admin login credentials in the QuickBooks Desktop Login window so you can open your company file.
Here's how:
If you want to sign in without entering your password when you open your company file, you can go to the preferences. Then, choose your login period. This helps you stay logged in with a maximum of 90 days. For more detailed insights, go through these articles:

I updated to 2021 QBDT Pro and I can't the login screen to pop up.... just a "Warning" your admin needs to update the company file. I am the admin - very frustrating!

I have downloaded and ran the tool doctor 2-3 times. I have also restarted my computer, the Quickbooks software, ran the database manager…. I’ve tried several things - all with the same result. It keeps telling me to ask my administrator to update the company file.

How did you get this resolved? I'm having the same problem and I've been on tech support with QB for over an hour and still haven't managed to get it fixed.
How did you end up resolving this problem? I'm having the same issue and spent over an hour on the phone with QB support and got nowhere. We tried everything possible.
