Live Bookkeeping email notifications

How can I change the email address where I receive notifications from my Quickbooks Live bookkeeper? I have spoken with a dozen QB support people, even had 3 of them log onto my screen to ensure the email address had been updated in every possible location on my end. But notifications from Live Bookkeeping continue to go to my old email address. My bookkeeper herself has tried without success to find out how to change these notifications. Suggestions?

I understand how important it is to you to change your email in order to get rid of the notifications. Now, I'm here to help you.


I'd suggest you edit your appointment in your QuickBooks Online mobile app. You can do that by following the steps below:

 

  1. Open and sign in to the QuickBooks Online mobile app. 
  2. Select Live Expert. Your upcoming appointment will be displayed there.
  3. For you to edit your appointment tap on the appointment.
  4. Click Edit appointment. Change the email, then click Done.

If you get the same result, you'll need to contact a product expert via chat once more.
 

Here's how: 
 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
  2. Select Live Bookkeeping.
  3. In Live Bookkeeping, select Send a message.
  4. You'll be linked to a QuickBooks product expert who can answer your queries.
     

You can check this article in case you want to reset or change your login information for QuickBooks Online.

Live Bookkeeping email notifications

Appreciate the suggestion, but appointment notifications go to the correct email. It's the "New message from your bookkeeper" or "New comment from your bookkeeper" or "New request from your bookkeeper" notifications that go to the old address.
