Join nowQuickBooks desktop pro 2018 - I am locked out of one of my datafiles as I didn't log onto my account within 28 days while that datafile was open. Can use all my other datafiles just not this one. QuickBooks says the only way to open the file is to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks which will cost me $450 a year. Such a scam!
You were working on the company file as single user, correct? Try opening the file on another computer. Last resort, you can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 to upgrade your version.

QuickBooks Desktop 2019 down below is no longer supported. And to continue using your services, the program recommends you upgrade to the latest version.
You can follow the suggestion provided by our Community backer Fiat Lux - ASIA, to sort this out. Another way is to download a QuickBooks Desktop trial to open your company file.
