Locked out of my data file

You were working on the company file as single user, correct? Try opening the file on another computer. Last resort, you can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 to upgrade your version.

QuickBooks Desktop 2019 down below is no longer supported. And to continue using your services, the program recommends you upgrade to the latest version.

You can follow the suggestion provided by our Community backer Fiat Lux - ASIA, to sort this out. Another way is to download a QuickBooks Desktop trial to open your company file.

You can contact our support team in case you need hands-on support or further assistance with processes. They have enough tools to ensure files are accessible and records are intact.

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
3. Click Contact Us.
