You may notice a slight difference in how your books appear once you move from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You'll need a recent version of QuickBooks Desktop before you move them or download a trial and use it as an alternative.
After you've downloaded QuickBooks Desktop, you can sign in to QuickBooks Online and download the migration tool. To do so, follow the steps provided below:

Do you know why users think the online version is garbage? You changed the look and the way to enter data after years of users getting use to the desktop version. Don't move stuff around you twits! I tried to run payroll..... your program said I needed to fix something first....I did....then I could not run payroll. This online version makes me so upset I want to vomit. I am going back to the desktop version and I implore you to leave the desktop version the hell alone!
