You may have 2 ways:

1. Utilize an importer tool.

https://get.transactionpro.com/qbo

You must pick QBO Plus or Advanced to utilize the class tracking and/or location features to separate transactions from old accounts.

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/US

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/us-promo

2. Purchase a 3rd party service to merge 2 Xero accounts into 1 QBO account.

Welcome to the Community, @kwaweni. Thanks for reaching out to us.

I appreciate you sharing your experience with us as you tried to transfer two companies' data from Xero to QuickBooks Online (QBO). I want to let you know that under QBO, you can only migrate once. You are correct that when you migrate another one, it will delete all of the data from the previous company.

You might consider looking for a third-party app that can migrate data from Xero to QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click Apps from the left panel.
  3. Navigate to the Find Apps section.
  4. To find an app, use the search bar and input a keyword.
  5. Select one app from the list.

I've also included this article which will help you know more about the process of converting data into QBO:  Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

If you have further questions or concerns about migrating data in QuickBooks Online, feel free to get in touch with us again. Have a wonderful day!
