This is unacceptable to not transfer my receipts from Self Employed to Solopreneur. I was told by customer service they would transfer in 48-72 hours but it’s been weeks and I still have no receipts. That’s hundreds of transactions this year that Quickbooks just lost the receipts!!!

So the specialist I talked to today said not to worry as you are working on a tool to migrate receipts over but there is no timeline for completion. I mean seriously, what are you thinking QuickBooks? You can't even have receipts stay with transactions? This seems like a simple need that should already be with your products, and you completely lied when telling me all of my books would easily transition over between your products. I have now lost all faith and trust in your services.
I'm in the same boat, it has been over a month, and customer service won't do anything helpful. They said it was a feature under development, but the page clearly states that receipts would transfer over.
I had to switch because Self-Employed became unusably buggy - planned obsolescence I'g guess. But Solopreneur is clearly a beta product that shouldn't have been released, and of course they refuse to let you go back to Self-Employed. Let's hope I gain access to my receipts before tax time.
I'm having this issue too, no receipts found at all. How is this acceptable? Self-Employed stopped working and became an unusable mess and decided to upgrade. This paired with email receipts not working is mkaings this garbage worth over $250 a year? Need an eta on this fix
I understand why you feel that way and your feelings is completely valid, @rockerroach. Please know that we are committed to addressing this issue promptly and providing you with the support you need.
Once you upgrade to QuickBooks Solopreneur, your access to the old QuickBooks Self-Employed account will be discontinued. I appreciate your response but data protection should be number one for a product whose whole goal is accounting, where its goal is to “track” and keep an accurate “account” of things. Where can I get a refund and cancel this service? I already found Wave accounting to have all the features plus more for cheaper.

It's borderline lawsuit worthy. They expressly said when I switched software that receipts will be transferred over (this screenshot), and the customer rep says that will "eventually" happen but there is no timeline.. I've tried to get them to send me a folder of all my receipts, but I'm past the deadline now apparently (the phone call made it sound different). If the IRS decides to audit me this year, I'm going to be in a pickle, all thanks to good old Quickbooks.
I'm about ready to switch to Quicken, that way I will always have control over my own data.
