Multiple companies open which version?

I currently run 8qty companies here in my office with a staff of 9qty people. QB Pro 2019 with 2qty companies, QB Pro 2018 with 3qty & QB Pro 2016 with 3qty of them. All companies data file stored on ONE MAIN SERVER. My reason for doing different years is this way I can keep at least 3qty companies open simultaneously. My problem is:

- What version can keep more than 1 companies open on a desktop at the same time?

- I need a version that supports at least 4 simultaneous workers being in a company at a given time.

You can use Enterprise or QuickBooks Accountant, TLeibee.

Both versions offer the ability to work on multiple company files simultaneously using a single version of QuickBooks. You can open the other company file through these steps:

Double-click the name of the second company file.
Double-click the QuickBooks icon.
Go to the File menu, then select Open Second Company.
