Multiple companies

Greetings, @KateKosinova.

I'm here to help you and make sure that you'll be able to consolidate your financial reports for 3 companies.

If your three companies have different EINs,  each needs to have a separate company file in order to have the taxes recorded correctly. You can just choose the industry of your business. Take a look at this article for more information: Create QuickBooks Desktop Company file: Overview

To learn more about QuickBooks Desktop, click on this link: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products

Now, to have consolidated financial reports, follow these steps:

  1. From the Reports menu, choose Combine Reports from Multiple Companies.
  2. Select Add Files and choose the other company file, then click Open. Repeat the steps for additional files.
  3. Choose the reports that you need to combine.
  4. Adjust the date range of the report.
  5. Click the Combine Reports in Excel to open an Excel spreadsheet with the combined information.

Another option is using a third-party application that can combine reports from multiple company files. You can search from the Intuit Marketplace.

The last option is to export the reports from each company file and combine them using an Excel file. Here is an article you can refer to in exporting reports: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.

I also want to include this article to learn more on how to consolidate reports from multiple companies: Combine reports from multiple company files.

Just click on the Reply button if you have more questions about using QuickBooks Desktop for 3 companies. I'm always here to help.
