My banking does not update for the year. there is a seven month gap not sure how to update for themissing months

You can use the webconnect feature to update missing months on your bank feeds.

First, you’ll need to log into your bank and download the file. Set the date range and save the file as QBO, OFX, QFX, or CSV.

Once done, upload the WebConnect file to QuickBooks.

Here's how:

To download your web connect files, please see steps below:

1. From the QuickBooks File menu, select Utilities.
2. Click Import, then Web Connect Files.
3. Select the QBO file you saved, then select Open.
4. Select Continue. You should see a dialogue box telling you that the data has been successfully read into QuickBooks. Select OK.
5. Go to the Bank Feeds Center to review your transactions.

Note if the auto-update is back, transactions may download again. If there are duplicates, you'll have to exclude them.
