License information

My license information was emailed to me but no one at my business had requested this.  I'm worried that someone is trying to access my QB...I've been trying to connect with the security for Intuit/QB but it has not allowed me to connect or go to the security link address.  Help!

Keeping your account and all your confidential information safe is our top priority, @rtamiyasu.

I know a working link that you can utilize to get in touch with our Security Team in order to report this suspicious action or any other security issue.

Here's how you can report it:

  1. Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/contact-us
  2. Click on Contact Us.
  3. Click on Report  fake email

However, if you still don't have access to the provided link, I'd recommend contacting our Support Team. Confidential matters like this are best handled by them since they have all the necessary tools to look at your account securely and confirm if the email really is a suspicious one.

On the other hand, please note that Intuit won't:

  • Ask for your password or sign-in information
  • Ask for your bank or credit card information
  • Ask for any confidential information about your employees
  • Send you a software update or download as an attachment

You can refer to this link for more security tips: Online security tips.

Additionally, I've included this article that'll help you how to recognize official Intuit correspondence and websites: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.
