My subscription expired and I just renewed. All the data is lost from before it expired and it is like a new blank account? How can I recover this data?

My subscription expired and I just renewed. All the data is lost from before it expired and it is like a new blank account? How can I recover this data?

Hey there, sunsetberryfarm.

 

Once your subscription expires, all the information and transactions will remain and your data will be available in read-only access.

 

You might have 2 QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. To verify it, let's go to your Billing & Subscription page and check your subscription details, like the "Next Charge" date. To do this, please follow these steps:


1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Choose Account and Settings.
3. Click on Billing & Subscription.

 

If the details shown on that page don't match with your correct QBO account. Please log out from there and log back in using the correct credentials.

 

If the details on the Billing & Subscription indicate you're logged in to the right account but not seeing your data, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support. They have the tools to pull your account and do further investigations in determining the root cause of this matter.  They can also provide details of the current status of your account.

 

The best way to reach our support team is to sign in to your account and tap on the Assistant option at the top.

 

Once done, type in "Talk to a human" and send it. Just follow the instructions that will prompt afterward.
