Phone number on file now inactive. HELP

My number recently changed and the number on file for our account is no longer active. When I try to change the number on file or add employees to payroll I'm stonewalled by a demand to verify on a phone number that no longer has service. Can't seem to find a means to fix this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
