Preferred ProAdvisor Pricing Plan

My client is currently on another Proadvisor's plan for billing.  How do I switch them to me?  Does the other accountant have to switch them to client billed and then I add them to mine?  Or is there a shortcut where we can switch from his plan to my plan?

I've got the steps to help you switch your client's plan to your plan, jan.

To get started, we have to remove your client's previous firm to switch them to your new plan.

Then, we can add your client as a team member

To switch your client's plan to your ProAdvisor plan, follow the outlined steps below:

  1. Ask your clients or the primary admin to sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Choose the Allow billing transfer to your accountant link.
  4. Click the name of the accounting firm you want to transfer billing to.
  5. Hit Allow transfer

Once your client permits you, you have two days to finish the transfer.

However, if your client changes their mind and you haven't accepted the transfer, they can cancel the transfer request.

Let me know if you have more questions about managing your ProAdvisor plan. I'll be here to lend a hand. Have a good one!
