QB Desktop Pro 2024: where can I open a support ticket? Chat support is worthless

Good morning, all.  Current user of multiple 3-user licenses of QB Desktop Pro 2022 & 2024.

 

I need to open a support ticket re: license usage (specifically, releasing a user license if user is leaving company).  Trying to resolve in a chat session but the chat person is woefully inadequate to the task.

Can you access CAMPS as the Primary Contact and find your license code there?

To begin with, it's recommended that the user be removed from the company file to restrict their access.

 

To remove a user, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Company at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Click on Set up Users and Roles.
  4. Go to User List.
  5. To remove an old user, select the user's name and click Deleteremove a user.png
  6. Click Yes to continue.

 

In relation to the usage license issue, it's important to note that any reduction in user seats will have implications for your license subscription. Consequently, you'll need to get in touch with our Live Support Team. I acknowledge that you have previously contacted them via chat. You can also opt to request a callback for further assistance.

 

To reach them, please follow these instructions:

 

  1. Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop as your product in question and click Continue.
  3. In the Which edition dropdown, select Pro or Premier.
  4. Enter your question or concern about the license usage, then click Continue.
  5. Choose Have us call you if you want a callback or Chat with us if you'd prefer to start a conversation.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions.
