Help me understand why we can't back-up to a desktop version of QuickBooks? When clients go out of business, their records are not intact and are left with spreadsheets. Since the option to back-up to a QuickBooks desktop file was removed, will Intuit not delete clients data after a period of not paying for a subscription? The spreadsheets provided do not provide enough detail should things like a sales tax audit arise. That would be extremely difficult for the client to manage with the simple spreadsheets available under the export data option within QuickBooks.
