Quickbooks update and errors

Updated Quickbooks today. 3/19 Went to do invoices and clients had disappeared and previous payments. Recovered back to March 14 and now my payroll has disappeared …all clients not there either…help. 
need simple steps and call in support not available till Monday

Thank goodness no problems are found, so now what? Any suggestions? 
do I have to manually go back and fix the invoices and missing clients and payroll( I am concerned with)

I can just go in and redo the entries for 15 days.

My record  is how to record a previous payroll with taxes etc. all employees received their paycheck stubs, so I have as reference, but it would be a hassle.

Could only retrieve the March 14 backup. Still no payroll on March 14. 
was going to call support today for help too
