Welcome to the Community, @jennifer47. You've come to the right place.
No worries, I'm here to provide you with information about the Accountant's Copy in QuickBooks.
All that the client has to do is create a new copy and send that to you. The client's QuickBooks adds an "Accountant's Changes Pending" reminder next to the Company File name. It also restricts certain activities to avoid conflict with the changes you're going to make. The message stays until the client gets the file back and import your changes or until you remove the Accountant's Copy restriction.
If you need further assistance or have additional questions, please don't hesitate and leave me a Reply. Have a beautiful day!
That is not my question. It keeps changing the question. My question is I sent my client the "Accountant Changes" He did not import the changes and now it is expired. He wants me to resend the "Accountant Changes" I couldn't see any where in QuickBooks to do that
Thanks for joining the thread, @195527.
You'll need to reach out to your client so that they can send you the Accountant's Copy again. After they send you the Accountant's Copy and you make the edits, then you send the Accountant Changes to the client and they'll be able to import. Let your client know that they don't have to remove the restrictions from their file. This is so they can work in their Company File as you work in the Accountant's Copy.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free and leave me a Reply. Have a great day!

How do I send the changes back? There seems to be some kind of error.
Where do I find the accountants changes to send back to the client?
I’ll guide you, @amwac.
After recording the corrections, you exported the Accountant's Changes through .QBY file. This is usually saved in the Intuit server temporarily.
If you save it locally or as PDF, you can locate the file to your list and send it directly to your client.
You’ve mentioned an error, can you tell me the exact details so I can find an answer to resolve it?
Let me breakdown the steps for you on how to send back the accountant changes. Here's how:
Please check this reference for a detailed process: Export accountant's changes.
You can also share these resources to your client on how to import the corrections successfully and how to resolve errors in case there unexpected circumstances occur when importing the changes.
Don’t hesitate to get back if you need further assistance. I’ll be around to help. Take care.
Hi, how long will an accountants copy be usable before it expires?
Let me share some information about the accountant's copy in QuickBooks Desktop, Randy Wood.
There's no expiration date with accountant's copy. However, after you send the Accountant's Copy, QuickBooks adds an "Accountant's Changes Pending" reminder next to your company file name. It also restricts certain activities to avoid conflicting with your accountant's changes.
The message stays until you get the file back and import your accountant's changes, or until you remove the Accountant's Copy restriction. While on accountant changes are pending, you can work in the .QBW working file to make changes to transactions in the current period, after the dividing date. Here's what you can do:
However, while accountant's changes are pending, you can't make these changes:

I have a client who sent me the accountant's copy, but when I try to open it, I receive HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request. So I cannot open it. How do I have the client resend it? Why would I receive that status report?
