Best way to create a budget vs actual report by class on one or two sheets for board.

I am here to help you run a report easily, servalstudios. We can customize this Budget vs. Actuals report to show only the transaction you'd like to appear in your report.  

Here's how to do it: 

1. Go to Report menu. 
2. In the search bar, type in the Budgets vs Actuals. 
3. You can customize the report based on the data you need to display.
4. Click Run report once done.

Thanks but the budget on Quickbooks is unusable for me.   I need something easier and more customizable.

There are different apps that you can look into to check how it's being used and see how it works for other customers as well. You can click this link to be routed to our Apps Store. Enter budget in the search field and all apps related to it will show on the results.

You can click each app to have an overview of it and click the Review tab to see other customer's feedback. If you want to subscribe to the app, just click Get app now at the upper-right.
