I'm here to provide some information regarding backing up your file in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you're using Simple Start, Essential, or Plus, the option to backup files isn't possible. What you can do is export reports and lists to Excel and store them on your flash drive. You can check this article for more information: Export data from QuickBooks Online.
If you'd like to use the Backup and Restore feature, you'll want to consider upgrading your plan to QuickBooks Online Advanced.
Also, you'll want to use a third-party application to back up your files. To proceed, you can visit our Apps store and look for an app that integrates well with QBO and allows you to do the process.
You can do this inside your company by going to the Apps menu on the left panel and entering a keyword in the search field.
- On the left navigational bar, go to Apps.
- In the search bar, type the word "Backup" as your keyword.
- Look for the app that best suits your needs.
- Select the app, and then click Get App Now.
