Join nowDo you have multiple QBO accounts? If you invite an accountant to access one particular QBO account, he cannot access other QBO accounts unless you invite him separately.
Hello there, @m2marti.
I've got some ways for you to make a copy of QuickBooks Online (QBO) file for a new accountant.
Yes, you can make a copy of your file without giving any access to your other QBO files by inviting individually.
If you have multiple accounts in QBO, you have to invite the accountant to your other existing QBO account.
Here's how:
3. Then select Manage users.
4. Choose the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
5. Enter the accountant's email address, then select Invite.
Once the accountant is invited, they can only access the QBO account used for the invitation.
Lastly, I've added an article that you can browse through for you to be able to learn about the special tools used by your accountant: Use accountant tools and features in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Let me know if you still need further assistance with your data or anything else about QuickBooks. I'd be glad to help you at any time. Moving forward to work with you again, stay safe.
