Hi, @info-studio-defi.
To provide more effective assistance, may we kindly inquire about the report you generated that shows the 1099 computation? It would also greatly help us if you could provide additional details on the specific error you have encountered while running the report. In the meantime, you might also consider accessing your account through your browser's incognito mode and check if the problem still occurs.
Please feel free to keep us updated on the situation. We are committed to offering ongoing support. Take care.
I cannot attach an image but this is what happens, when I go to Vendors, select "file 1099s" and proceeds with the process. When I'm in the second step which is "Review Recipients", I click on the number under "Reportable Total" column to check which transactions are included in the computation, and that's when I encounter the error, intead of showing the computation it prompts "Something went wrong. We are working on it.". My concern is that this error happens to me only, my colleague tried to do this using a similar account but does not get any error.
I recognize the importance of reviewing which transactions are included in the 1099 computation, info-studio. My main goal is to ensure this gets sorted out.
We haven't received any reported issues about the error message you mentioned when accessing the Reportable Total column. To rectify this, I recommend performing some troubleshooting steps.
First, I recommend logging out and logging back into QuickBooks Online (QBO). Doing so refreshes your account for all the updates to take effect.
If this isn't the case, I suggest accessing your account using a private window. This way, we can determine whether this is a browser cache-related issue. The browser utilizes cached data to load web pages quickly. However, excessive cache can lead to problems that impact the appearance and functionality of your account.
An incognito mode helps us verify the issue since this doesn't save any files. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
If computation shows, clear the browser's cache. Doing so deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. Using other supported browsers also helps us verify if this is a browser-specific issue.
In case none of this fixes the error, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the necessary tools to investigate the root cause of the issue. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about this if necessary.
Moreover, you can attach a screenshot by clicking the Insert Photos icon. Then, select Choose Files to add the images. Make sure the file is supported (jpg,.JPG,.jpeg,.JPEG,.gif,.GIF,.png,.PNG). I've added a visual reference below.
I'll be around if you need more help managing your 1099s forms with your QBO. Keep me in the loop by tagging me in your reply. Keep safe!
