Estimates

I need the flexibility to create Estimates (that I renamed “Work Orders”) in a way that hides line item costs AND Estimate totals.

Estimates

Good day, @JPileggi1.

Glad to have you here in the Community space. Allow me to share some insights on customizing estimates.

You have an option to create and customize an estimate in QuickBooks Online. This includes renaming one and hiding some data such as Form numbers, Shipping, Expiration date, Description, Product/Service, Quantity, Rate, Amount and much more.

Hiding the total in an estimate isn’t yet available in QuickBooks, I'd suggest sharing us your insight and opinion by clicking the Gear icon and selecting Feedback. This way, our product team would know what you liked and what we can do to make it better.

Follow the steps below to rename and customize the estimate:
1.    Click the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
2.    Click New Style drop-down on the upper right hand and select Estimate.
3.    On the Design tab, rename the estimate by clicking the box below it.
4.    Click the Content tab and select the section of the form from the preview on the right to make changes.
5.    Remove the check mark on the box to hide the information.
6.    Do the same to the rest of the section of the form.
7.    Click Done to save the template.

Once you use this template, the information you unchecked will no longer show on the estimate. For more information on how to customize estimates, check out this article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Payments/How-to-customize-invoices-estimates-and-sales-recei....

Let me know if you have questions. I’ll be here to keep helping. Enjoy your day!
