Export from Quickbooks Online to Quickbooks for Mac

I can help you migrate your data back to QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

To move your date, you'll need to export your files first from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QBDT for Windows. Once done, we can convert them to Mac.

Before doing so, please take note of the following:

  • We can only move company files from QBDT Pro, Premier, or Premier Accountant editions.
  • Ensure that your QBDT is updated to the latest release.
  • QBDT for Windows should have the same version or earlier than Mac. For instance, if you're exporting to QBDT for Mac 2022, we'll have to use QBDT for Windows 2022 or earlier versions.

Then, Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop to get the version of QBDT you'll want to use. After installing the sample file, you may enter the license and product numbers provided.

For future reference about importing your files to QuickBooks for Mac, this article provides a detailed guide: Import data into QuickBooks for Mac.

The converter tool only supports QB Desktop Windows version. You may have the following 2 options

1. Use the trial version of QB Desktop 2021 Pro to convert your data, Then convert the file to Mac file version

2. Purchase a 3rd party service to convert your data directly to QB Desktop for Mac file format.
