If you've turned on the location tracking feature in QBO, then you're able to track your customer transactions by location in your report. If you haven't already, here's how to turn it on:

Once done, you can run the Sales by Location Detail report. Here's how:
However, we don't have an option to run customer reports by state in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you very much for your response with kind assistance.
I followed all steps below, succeeded in editing settings and running the report.
When we bridge our invoices from Quantum to QBO, the location field in the invoices/bills/ payments stays empty.
I need to filter our customers (last quarter) according to Florida state in the USA. It’s mentioned in Customer’s details.
Please assist to create such report: all Florida customers of the last quarter.

Thank you for sharing more details about your concern, accounting. I recognize you need to pull up the Customer report filtered by location range to the last quarter in QuickBooks Online.
Try to pull up a report for the Customer Contact List, and then filter the Rows/Columns, and choose the Billing state. This will allow QBO to show your customer under Florida. However, we're unable to sift the date range for the last quarter since this isn't a supported function in QBO.

Another workaround, you exporting a report to Microsoft Excel to allow you to modify the data on the report, such as sorting selected fields, reordering the fields, deleting fields, and Layout tabs to customize the report's output.
