How do I only allow classic reports and transaction views?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I completely understand that this option would greatly benefit you and your business. Since, in the new QuickBooks update, you have the option to switch between classic and transaction view manually. 

 

 

However, the ability to make default isn't currently available. I would suggest submitting Feedback directly to our product engineers.   

 

We appreciate your contribution to the growth and enhancement of QBO. Please continue to share your thoughts and let us know how we can better serve you and your business.

 

  1. Click the Help menu bar.
  2. Choose Send Feedback Online.
  3. Select Product Suggestion.
  4. Type in your request
  5. Once finished, hit Send Feedback.

How do I only allow classic reports and transaction views?

We recognize the importance of setting the Classic view as a default one when running a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me share an insight about this report feature. 

 

The option to make the Classic view is unavailable in QBO. We can manually click the Switch to classic view link to use the prior report interface. Refer to the screenshot below for a visual guide:

We recommend providing direct feedback to our product developers. They will thoughtfully review your input, identify areas for improvement, and consider integrating them into future updates. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu. 
  2. Choose Feedback under Profile
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Press Next to submit feedback.
