If you'd like to import your data to QuickBooks Online, you'll need to access it in QuickBooks Desktop software. Since you can't access yours, I'd suggest using a trial version. Then, restore the exported file to the software. Once done, you can now start moving your file.
In case you'd like to import an existing file to QuickBooks Online, you'll have to ensure this a CSV file or Excel file. This is the only supported format. Once verified that you're exported data is a CSV file, I'd suggest following the steps below.
Otherwise, you'll have to use a third-party application that will help you in moving the data to the online version.
