How does QuickBooks time tracking work?

Welcome to the Community, @Markgfuy!

I'm glad to assist you today so you'll get to know how QuickBooks Time tracking works.

In QuickBooks Time (QBT), your employees may track their time using any device and any location since it is cloud-based. Without ever leaving QuickBooks, you can then make changes to, review, and approve employee timesheets for payroll, job costing, billing, or invoicing. Your changes are immediately synchronized with QuickBooks Time, guaranteeing the accuracy of your employee time tracking.

Also, if your employee doesn't have a smartphone or is in a place without cellular coverage, they can even text or call in a code to check in. Your field employees' locations may be tracked via GPS, and the dashboard instantly displays who is working, where they are, and how many hours they've spent.

With this, you can streamline your payroll process, saves time, and eliminates errors caused by manual entry. The app offers a free trial so you can try it out. If you like it, you can subscribe to the service for a monthly cost.
