I beleive I am a Google SSO sign in user. I got an e-mail that told me I would have to sign in a different way. Was this sent by Quick Books or is it a scam?

Welcome and thank you for reaching out to the Community, @elaine-imagine

Signing in to QuickBooks Online with Google (SSO) is a convenient way to access your account without having to enter your login credentials every time.

However, please note that QuickBooks Online has unique email addresses for each service. If you receive an email from one of those addresses, then it's a legit one from QuickBooks. You can compare the email addresses you received with the ones in the image provided below to make sure they match.

Also, we would like to inform you that starting from October 20, 2023, Intuit will no longer support Google Single Sign-On (SSO) to sign in to QuickBooks products. To avoid any disruptions, please make sure to update your Intuit Account sign-in information before this date.

If you want to learn how to recognize official Intuit correspondence and websites, refer to this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

Let me know if you need further assistance. I would be of help. Have a great day ahead.
