This is an unexpected occurrence, info-worldwidete. The security of your account is our top priority.

I'm here to share information about receiving emails that your account info has been updated even if you did not make any changes.

First, I recommend checking if the email is valid. Suspicious emails may be scams designed to trick you into sharing personal information, often appearing convincing. Emails from Intuit always come from an email address with the domain @intuit.com.

If so, I suggest checking if one of your users may have updated your account info. To do so, let's use the Audit log feature. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Audit log.

  2. Choose Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Click Apply.

If not, I suggest reporting this suspicious activity to our Security Team to prevent it from happening again. I'll show you how to do it:

  1. Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/contact-us.
  2. Look for Report technical support scams.
  3. Click Report tech support scams.

You can also contact our QuickBooks Support Team. They can help you investigate further with your account.

Furthermore, you can read this article to protect and secure your data: How we keep your data safe.

Don't hesitate to comment below if you have questions about securing your account in QuickBooks Online. I'm always here to help you out.
